Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Part-Time — Tuesdays & Thursdays
Baltimore, MD — 2232 E. Monument St., Baltimore, MD 21205
Contract (1099) · Part-time · 16 hours per week · $50–$200 per hour
New Beginnings is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team two days a week. This is a consistent Tuesday and Thursday schedule with a mix of in-person and telehealth visits. No call, no weekends — a strong fit for a provider balancing clinical work with other commitments. This role has genuine potential to grow to full-time, five days a week, as our patient volume expands.
We provide psychiatry, medication management, and therapy to adults and adolescents across Maryland, with same-week access and a patient-centered, insurance-friendly model.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Provide ongoing medication management and symptom monitoring
- Treat adults and adolescents presenting with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD/trauma, and substance use disorders
- Deliver MAT/addiction treatment services
- See patients both in-office and via telehealth
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with our clinical team on complex cases
Qualifications
- Active Maryland APRN license with PMHNP certification (ANCC)
- Active DEA registration; DATA-waiver/MAT prescribing experience preferred
- Experience with adult and adolescent psychiatric populations
- Comfortable practicing independently and via telehealth platforms
- Maintain your own professional liability (malpractice) coverage
- Experience preferred; new graduates considered
