What is Outpatient Treatment?

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a structured, multi-day treatment program designed for adults who need more support than standard outpatient care — without requiring residential or inpatient admission.
Meeting several days per week, IOP combines individual and group counseling, addiction education, coping skills training, and peer recovery support — all while allowing you to continue living at home and managing your daily responsibilities. Whether you’re stepping down from inpatient care or stepping up from standard outpatient, IOP meets you exactly where you are.
